HOW TO STYLE // THE MIDI DRESS

The midi dress is one of the most versatile garments a girl can own. It can easily be dressed up or down, and the length is flattering on almost any figure. Today, we show you how to wear your favourite midi for work, shopping, or even a wedding!

FOR WORK

Midi dresses are great for workwear all year round. In the summer months, you can keep cool without baring too much leg; in winter, add some thick tights for a cosy feel. Classic courts and a fitted blazer will provide the perfect mix of formal and fashion for the office, and you can even recycle this look for a dinner date! We've added a nude bag and our stunning Sophia Pink Beaded Collar to match - a brilliant statement necklace but in toned down colours, making it a great piece for work!

FOR SHOPPING

Midi dresses don't just look great with heels! Throw on some pumps - like these gorgeous snakeskin effect slip ons - for a comfy yet stylish look. If you like to add a splash of colour, we suggest hunting for the perfect coloured leather jacket. We adore this khaki number as it suits both dark colours for A/W and brights for S/S! For a little shine, we've added our Mya Multi Link Chain Necklace. Unlike other chain jewellery, it has multiple links for a unique layered effect. Pick up your favourite cross body bag and you're ready for some speed shopping!

FOR A WEDDING

Weddings can be tricky, particularly for those of us who worry about our figure. Many of us love to turn to a trusty slimming black number, but you should accessorise with lighter and brighter colours to keep your outfit looking as cheerful as you feel! We love this sparkly gold clutch to really put you in the party spirit. Look out for a pair of metal ankle strap heels like the Missguided ones we found; they're sure to add a bit of glamour to any outfit. Wear with a porcelain white blazer and our Ayla White Pearl & Jewel Encrusted Necklace for a sophisticated, elegant style.
