OOTD// Work Wear to Evening

We all know how long it can take us to get ready for an evening out, but for a lot of us this isn't a luxury we have, juggling work life, home life and a social life.

Here's a few changes you can make to your work wear in 10 minutes to transform your look into a stylish, glamorous evening ensemble.

If you know you're off out quite soon after you clock off, keep the outfit for work quite simple with a tailored pair of suit pants and a chiffon shirt. Wear a seamless tank vest underneath, just in case the shirt is slightly see through. Team it with a black blazer. We've gone for a loose peplum blazer, for a fitted and feminine silhouette. Wear a pair of point stilettos. They're smart, chic and versatile. To glam up a very simple work wear look, add a statement necklace. The Ariella Black teardrop Jewel necklace looks great at the office. It's quite subtle, but still making a statement to the whole look. For the office, go for an over sized black tote. This is perfect if you have to rush off, as you can fill your bag with your makeup, deodorant, perfume, etc and redo on your commute home, or if your going out straight from work, reapply in the toilets. Wear your hair in a bun to work and spray with lots of hairspray to hold it neatly in place foe the entire day.

Evening Wear

To transform your workwear outfit, roll up your tailored pants so that they're ankle length. This gives the look a bit more character and it's less formal looking. Lose the shirt and now wear the tank vest as a crop top. It's a very casual top, therefore transforming the whole look. Pair it with the peplum blazer, which keeps the outfit looking chic, but without the shirt underneath, makes the whole attire sexy and a definite head turner. Change your necklace for a bit of colour. We've gone for The Lydia Jewel Collar Necklace, as the orange is vibrant and summery. Apply a thick layer of lippy in the same shade as your necklace. Swap the large tote for a sleek boxed clutch. We went for this cool and quirky clutch from River Island, giving the whole look a bit of style and coolness. Finally pull your hair out of the bun its been in all day and run your fingers through it, leaving volumous wavy hair. In just 10 short minutes, we have created a completely different look that no one would suspect you've been in all day.

OOTD // PASTEL PREVIEW

Pastels are a common recurrence every season, with candy shades appearing across stores each spring/summer, and muted dusky tones for autumn/winter. SS15 is no different, with designers such as Timo Weiland, Valentino and Badgley Mischka all hopping on the pastel colour trend. Our next lot of exclusive designs will be landing on our website in early March, but if you can't wait that long we've got a sneak peek for you today!

Peach has to be one of our favourite summer colours. It works wonders for your complexion, no matter what your skin tone, giving you a dewy glow. Our Jania Floral Jewel Necklace packs a peachy punch with hints of lemon yellow and mint green to create a contrast. We love how the chunky gold chain offsets against the pretty jewels to give your neckline some edge.

We found this super feminine peach sheer textured midi skirt from River Island as a perfect colour match, to take you from garden party to evening cocktails by the beach! Bardot style tops aren't expected to fall off the fashion radar any time soon, so be sure to snatch up this pale yellow ribbed crop from New Look. Keep your shoes simple, like these white heeled sandals with gold buckle detail from River Island. They won't overpower the rest of your ensemble, but the gold detail will tie them in effortlessly.

To make your skin glow even more, complement your tan with a light gold eyeliner to accent the inner corners of your eyes - it'll also make them appear bigger and brighter! Highlight your cheekbones with a multi-tonal bronzer that has a slight shimmer to it, and brush on a classic light nude nail polish to complete the look.

OOTD // EFFORTLESS IN EMERALD

You've loved our Esther Emerald Jewel Collar and we've had to restock it more times than we can count, so we thought it was about time we did an OOTD post on it for you! We've pulled together a look that you can wear day or night, all year round, and still look glam.

Emerald looks great with any natural hair colour, so no matter what your look you can style this colour with ease! We love this emerald chiffon maxi skirt - long enough for winter but lightweight enough for summer too. Wear it with a simple black crop top, or tuck a black t shirt into the skirt if the thought of baring a little midriff after Christmas terrifies you! Beauty-wise, coat your nails in a classic high shien black nail polish, and apply a colour popping coat of deep burgundy lipstick for a striking look in a matter of minutes.

You may have heard by now that our jewellery is also stocked online with Lipsy. Here in the office we're a big fan of the brand, particularly their range with Corrie's Michelle Keegan! We've had a nosy at their current collection and pulled together the perfect outfit for your Christmas Eve or Boxing Day drinks.

We love a good pair of black leggings - they're a little smarter than jeans and much more comfortable. These PU Biker Leggings are super slick and will instantly take a simple top from drab to fab. The midi dress is one of the most versatile garments a girl can own. It can easily be dressed up or down, and the length is flattering on almost any figure. Today, we show you how to wear your favourite midi for work, shopping, or even a wedding!

FOR WORK

Midi dresses are great for workwear all year round. In the summer months, you can keep cool without baring too much leg; in winter, add some thick tights for a cosy feel. Classic courts and a fitted blazer will provide the perfect mix of formal and fashion for the office, and you can even recycle this look for a dinner date! OOTD // FOR THE LOVE OF LEATHER

Whether you prefer real or faux, no wardrobe is complete without a bit a leather. Celebrities such as the Kardashians are often pictured wearing multiple leather pieces. We're here to show you how you can work the look too!

First things first, every girl should own a leather jacket. They can take almost any outfit from drab to fab, and you can accessorize with a fur collar in the colder months. Black leather boots are a must too, as they're versatile and help add height with a chunky heel that's easy to wear all day long!

A black leather tee will give any outfit a slick style. Look out for one which is slightly loose with mesh inserts so you don't get too hot! Wear with either leather leggings or a leather skirt, but don't be afraid to add some colour. A pastel leather skirt - like this powder blue beauty - will instantly make you stand out from the crowd. OOTD // JUST RIGHT JUMPSUIT

If you're off on a night out this weekend and dread the thought of wearing a dress in the cold autumn weather but still want to glam up, a jumpsuit is a happy medium! We're here to show you how you can easily turn a simple black jumpsuit into something extra special.

VICTORIA'S SECRET SHOW 2014

The model line up for the next Victoria's Secret show has now officially been revealed! Alongside the Angels (Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosia, Karlie Kloss, etc.), up and coming models such as Imaan Hammam, Devon Windsor and Jourdan Dunn will all take to the catwalk in some of the most amazingly outrageous lingerie you could ever imagine. London plays host to this year's show on December 9th, with the Angels expected to make several special appearances round the city on the days surrounding.

OOTD // CHUNKY KNITS & CHECKED PRINTS

The cosy look is definitely in this season, which is great because it is freeeezing! With chunky knits and check prints both featuring heavily on the AW14 Ready-To-Wear catwalk, we show you how to rock the British heritage look with style.

HOW TO WEAR // STATEMENT EARRINGS

We've been wearing earrings for hundreds of years - even Tutankhamun had his ears pierced! But that doesn't make it any easier to work out how to wear different shapes and styles. From studs to chandeliers, identifying your face shape can help you know which earrings you can wear best, just like it affects the type of hairstyles you'll be best suited to. If you're still confused don't worry; Adorning Ava HQ are here to help!

OVAL

If you have an oval face, then you're in earring heaven! Oval faces are versatile to practically all styles, although soft shapes tend to work better than geometric. When wearing longer pieces, try to pick a pair with a little width to them to complement your face shape. ROUND

For those of you with round faces, short earrings such as chunky studs can sometimes work against you. Long, dangle earrings however will help to elongate the face and enhance your cheekbones. OOTD // BONFIRE EMBELLISHMENTS

As we begin the last month in Autumn, there is a question that looms over all of us...how can we stay cosy and fashionable at the same time? With Bonfire night just two days away, we've put together the perfect stylish yet sensible outfit to help you survive the cold!

We absolutely adore the Eliana Woven Chain Collar - a steal at just £10 - as it's easy to work into your day and night wardrobes.

No wardrobe is complete without a fur gilet. They can be worn with anything from shirts to dresses, and are sure to keep you warm without hiding the rest of your ensemble. OOTD // HINT OF HALLOWEEN

As kids, Halloween was all about trick or treating and costumes were reasonably simple. As adults, it's a whole different ball game! The fashion stakes are high this year, with many designer labels - including Balmain - featuring black and leather heavily in their AW14 catwalk shows. This is perfect for those of you who aren't into dressing up nowadays, but still want to get in the spirit of the holiday.

Were you as glued to your screens as we were this weekend watching the X Factor lives shows!? With the new season upon us, darker shades seem to be the go to for most; but with bold brights and winter whites seen on the catwalk this year you shouldn't be afraid to mix it up and give your outfit a little something extra.

OOTD // GOTHIC GLAM

Today we updated our homepage with our second AW14 campaign image for our Gothic Glam trend - a mixture of chunky chains, deep blues and sparkling jewels. With October almost here and Halloween nearly upon us, what better trend is there to wear?

This season, the gothic trend isn't all about black. Mix it up by adding dark sapphire, rich ruby and striking emerald. Our Alexa Navy Jewel Rope Necklace will glam up any outfit and take you straight from a day in the office to a night out with the girls.

To give your outfit that super statement look, why not add an ear cuff? Our Clear Crystal Ear Cuff was worn by MIC's Rosie Fortescue and is an absolute steal at just £8! Try wearing your hair to one side if you really want to show it off.

OOTD // GRUNGE GET UP

We may not want to admit it, but autumn is here and this English sunshine won't last forever! As we roll into October the weather may begin to get a little dreary, but on the plus side you can pull your favourite black leather jacket out from the back of your wardrobe again. The grunge trend is back this year with chunky chains, statement rings and studded cuffs.

If you prefer to have a little colour in your look, our Miley Layered Chain Necklace is perfect, with three shades of metal - gold, gunmetal and silver.
