We all know how long it can take us to get ready for an evening out, but for a lot of us this isn't a luxury we have, juggling work life, home life and a social life.

OOTD// Work Wear to Evening
OOTD// Wedding Wonders
The sun has finally made an appearance, the flowers are in bloom and that can only mean one thing... the beginning of the Wedding season! It kicked off last weekend with our own Andy Murray and Kim Sears tying the knot.
OOTD// BANK HOLIDAY BESTS
It's official, the bank holiday has arrived! It's the first one of the year and we couldn't be more ready for it. It's a time to hang out with your friends and family, whether it be rocking out 'til 3 am or catching up on Netflix surrounded by Easter egg wrappers.
We've put together the perfect Easter outfit, if you're heading out this mini break. It's a four night weekend, so there's no excuse!
90's disco is a huge trend this season! The mini dress has made a comeback paired with super chunky mules. The high street is full of tin foil like garments, chunky flatforms and tiny skirts/ dresses.
We've gone for a fitted shimmery white mini dress and paired it with a boxy leather jacket for a sexy grunge feel. Wear it with any type of heel, as long as it's chunky and has a blocky look to it. On this occasion, we've picked a simple leather mule.
The bag is a silver sparkle clutch with buckle detailing and a messenger strap included if you're sick of holding your bag while trying to drink and dance.
Tha Adorning Ava Monochrome range works great for the 90s disco trend. The Abby Statement Monochrome Necklace sits beautifully with the shimmery mini and The Danica Silver Jewel Cuff adds a bit of character to the outfit.
Finish with a smudgey eye for a 90s grunge feel. You can afford to use a colour, as the outfit is very plain in colour. We've gone for a purple haze, as this seems to be the big 'it' shade this season with Derek Lam, Vera Wang and Mathew Williamson all a fan.
There you have, the perfect outfit for any evening! If it's a tad chilly, add a pair of tights and go for a chunky boot, still in keeping with the trend, but much more sensible if it's torrential rain.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

OOTD// Bohemian Beauty
Bohemian works best if you keep the colour palette in earthy tones. Beige's, tans, burnt oranges and browns work the best as they blend.
When we think of the Boho trend, we automatically think billowing maxis, but at this time of year, it's not quite warm enough to start parading round in a floaty almost night dress. Instead, we've gone for a weathered ripped jean in a washed out blue, paired with a textured cream bardot top, finished with ruffled sleeves and hem. This trend is all about mixing different textures but keeping colours similar. The air still has a chill to it, even if the sun is shining, so we've gone for a cream loose knit cardigan from Hollister (£14) with a drop hem, creating a billowy effect. Swap this for a kimono as the season progresses. The high street is full of bohemian style sandals, but if you're not quite ready to get out your toes yet, stick to a suede ankle boot, complete with buckles and fringing to add extra detail to your look. To match the boots, we've gone for a soft fringed bucket bag from Zara. With this trend, add as much accessories to your outfit as you want, layering pieces up for texture. Our Amara Layered Bead Bracelet is perfect for this. It's actually one bracelet but gives the impression of several. The colours on the bracelet complement the look perfectly. We've gone for The Macy Gold Pendant Tassel Necklace to tie in with the fringing.
Add these pieces above as well to the outfit to really nail the look. Usually less is more, but to be a bohemian beauty, more is definitely more!!!
Finish the look with a natural wave in your hair using a tousled texture mist and adding random braids to your hair. Complete with a beaded head piece to really bring out the quirky queen in you.

OOTD // GOLDEN GIRL - 70s inspiration
With Spring almost upon us, the SS15 70s trends is in full swing with an array of colours textures and patterns headlining the high street. We feel like we've entered a time warp surrounded by fringing, flares and flower power. This trend is a lot of fun but it is easy to get carried away with all those patterns and colours. To nail this trend without looking like you're off to 70s roller disco, keep the palette neutral.
For a sophisticated and classic twist on the 70s trend, we have gone for gold and cream tones, which blend well and can be used as a canvas for other major trends this season. Floral are huge for 70s, so it's no surprise that we love this camel coloured shift dress adorned in a daisy print from Topshop. We've paired it with this beautiful fluid take on a trench coat also from Topshop, online only. Trench coats are a classic piece that every girl should have hung in their wardrobe.
We've gone for a nude slingback boot heel, keeping the whole style looking chic without having to wear stiletto slingbacks. These are much more wearable and won't give you blisters after a busy day of strutting your stuff. The gold zip just adds a bit of extra detail and contemporary feel to the trend. Every girl needs an over sized bag for the day to fit all her girly products. we've picked this lovely mock croc tan bag from River Island.
With this trend, you can afford to go bohemian with your jewellery. Long earrings and long pendants. The Macy Gold Tassel Earrings and the Macy Gold Pendant Tassel Necklace work great with this outfit. It gives a bit of character and enhances the whole 70s vibe by adding texture on texture. The best part is that when Summer eventually arrives, they can be worn for a boho feel to a summer maxi or as a staple piece for a music festival.
In regards to beauty, keep the tones bronzed and light. The urban decay Naked palette has to be every girls favourite eye shadows for this. Paint your nails in a similar hue. if you're feeling inventive, try adding a bit of nail art too for a fun finish to your look!

OOTD // IN THE MONOCHROME ZONE
A huge trend that seems to make an appearance every season is monochrome, due to the fact that the trend screams sophistication, style and chicness. This year is no exception with pioneers such as Givenchy and Chanel leading the way. Monochrome is bolder than ever, with designers experimenting with textures, prints and and every shade of gray in between (50 shades I may add).
We have looked at how to wear monochrome in a classic and glamorous way, but to pull off monochrome as day wear in a stylish and edgy manner may seem a little harder to master. But we're here to tell you differently. It;s actually really easy to put a casual outfit together with a few classic pieces that will see you through many seasons to come.
A white shirt is a mandatory item in any girls closet, but this year shirts of got bigger and baggier. Long gone are the fitted shirts we have seen in earlier trends and in it's place a boyfriend shirt. It's a brilliant way to look stylish in a slouchy and comfortable way. We love this shirt from Topshop, as it's so versatile. We have paired it with a pair of ripped jeans from River Island to give the whole look an edgy, grungy feel. We've gone for a super skinny fit, but if you're more comfortable in "mom" jeans, this will work just as well.
Every outfit isn't complete without the extras... the accessories. It's all about accessorizing! We have picked out a soft over sized faux leather bag from Topshop. The fabric of the bag is great for this look, a little textured and the softness gives the bag real character. it also has a long messenger strap, perfect for the day if you're planning on doing a heavy work out of retail therapy. If your sick of wearing heels and your feet are screaming for a day off, try a pair of black ankle boots. We've gone for another trusty item from Topshop with a brushed silver chain as embellishment. It gives the whole outfit a bit of glamour without having to put on the killer sling backs.
The most importnat thing about this attire is the jewellery. without it, the outfit looks unimaginative and dull. The shirt we've picked screams out for a chunky statement necklace. The Ariella Necklace from Adorning Ava is perfect for that, with the ornate black jewels contrasting against the crisp white shirt. The clear crystals and gun metal chain pulls the whole outfit together creating a chic, but edgy feel. If you're more of an earring kind of girl, these Leila Monochrome Hoop Earrings compliment the outfit perfectly and are a steal at £7. Our new Monochrome collection has just landed filled with an array of statement necklaces and ornate earrings that would pair perfectly with our chosen outfit.
Finally add a sleek black flick of eyeliner from Bobbi Brown. The gel is brilliant if you haven't got the steadiest of hands, as you can apply it with ease, even if you're in a rush. Finish with a hue of gray with your favourite nail polish, ours is Amarapura from Nars. That's it!
All our monochrome collection is available now, stay tuned to see a sneak peek of our next collection coming soon...

OOTD // COCKTAILS & COSTUME JEWELLERY
After a long week at work, the idea of getting all dressed up for cocktails on a Friday can seem a little daunting, especially if you're pushed for time. If you're stuck for ideas, Adorning Ava HQ are here to help! Today we show you how to take your work wardrobe from day to night in a flash and still look glam.White and pastels are back for winter, with the latter being more dusky than the bright pastels of SS14. These printed pastel trousers are the perfect tailored pair for work, with a pattern that's not too loud for work but will still give your outfit a little extra oomph when you're out on the town. We've added some white mid-heels with a bang on trend collarless blazer to match, and a simple navy cami top - another colour you'll be seeing a lot of this season. Nude nails go with pretty much anything and will tone with your trousers.
Now for the accessories - our Lexi Clear Perspex Jewel Necklace mixes some of this season's key colours with chunky pieces of perspex to add some modernity. So, when your work day is over, put on your statement necklace and embellished bag to give your workwear an instant dressy feel.
